Multi-state bike ride raising money for Cape Coral family

A four-day bike ride to help a widow and her children is coming to Southwest Florida.

Six men are riding from Kokomo, Indiana, to Cape Coral. One of the riders, Nate Shipley, tragically lost his brother Andrew in July. The two grew up in Fort Myers and Andrew’s family lives in Cape Coral.

The ride aims to raise money for his wife Jessica and children.

You can watch their progress through this live tracker and on their Facebook page. They’ve made it to south Georgia and their goal is to be in Florida by Tuesday afternoon and in the Cape on Wednesday.
