Investigators search for man wanted for arson of his home while family was inside

Investigators are searching for suspect John Gibbons, 34, who is wanted for setting his own house on fire in Lehigh Acres when family members were inside over the weekend.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Saturday, Gibbons set his home on fire along Douglas Lane “knowing full well that there were family members inside.”

Our crew also went to the scene before Gibbons was named by investigators.
