Farmers markets are a popular place to find local produce and unique items, and many of you have missed out on your favorite must-haves since the pandemic began.

Good news: the Bonita Springs Farmers Market is back up and running. It’s a boost for local small businesses that have been out of in-person work for months.

Around 50 vendors are selling their goods Saturday, ranging from food to jewelry to handbags.

Usually, you go to a farmers market and linger around the booths, which is normally the goal. But the owners of the Bonita Springs market are trying to get people in and out quickly, so you now order online and just pop in to grab your goods.

Vendors are required to wear masks and customers are asked to keep social distancing in mind. If you touch something, you buy it.

The Bonita Springs Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at The Promenade in front of Bonita Bay, 26795 South Bay Dr.
