Make-A-Wish Southern Florida will kick off its Walk For Wishes, a virtual 5K Walk that raises money to grant the life-changing wishes of local children that have critical illnesses. WINK News’ Sabrina Katz and Meteorologist Matt Devitt will emcee the event Saturday, October 10. Make-A-Wish invites friends, family, colleagues and neighbors (near and far) to participate and fundraise. Head to their Facebook page for opening and closing ceremonies on Walk day. It aims to grant a wish for every medically-eligible child in its territory and understands wishes aren’t just nice, they’re necessary for kids and families at some of the most difficult times in their lives.
