Golden Gate Estates man arrested on 20 counts child porn possession

Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Elmer Bauers IV, 32, of Golden Gate Estates Thursday for 20 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of child pornography.

According to FDLE, agents served a search warrant at Bauers’ home on 16th Street Northeast Sept. 9, where they found a laptop belonging to Bauers that had child pornography on it.

Forensic examinations of Bauers’ computer uncovered evidence of additional, previously possessed child pornography videos featuring children as young as 7 years old.

Bauers was booked into Collier County jail.
