Credit: via City of Sanibel. Lee County Electric Cooperative temporarily repaired a power pole and restored power to more than 1,100 homes on Sanibel Wednesday. According to the City of Sanibel, homes lost power starting at 5 p.m. for several hours. The problem was determined to be a broken pole at 1619 Perwinkle Way. A full repair is expected Thursday.
