Thousands of Floridians eligible for tech support scam compensation

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody says thousands of Floridians are eligible to receive restitution for tech support scams, adding up to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This includes scams by several phony companies under investigation in Florida, such as Complete Fix, Compusafe, Telecom Experts and many more. They all have names related to technology, digital support and cyber protection.

If any of those sound familiar, you’ll need to go online and submit a complaint directly to the Florida attorney general’s office by Friday, Oct. 2.
