(AP Photo/Jon Elswick) There are mere days left to fill out the 2020 census and Florida is still below the national average for response rates. The U.S. Census Bureau reports Florida had 87.4% of households counted as of Sept. 14. The national average is 91.8%. It’s important everyone gets counted, as the census affects the number of representatives each state gets in Congress as well as funding on the state and federal levels. The census deadline is Sept. 30. If you haven’t filled out your form, you can do it online by clicking here.
