St. Matthew’s House will have four food distributions the week of September 14, as they continue to feed those who are in need in Southwest Florida.

Monday
Miracle Mile Thrift store at 3954 Broadway in Fort Myers from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Tuesday
Fairway Bible Church in Naples from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Thursday
First Baptist Church of Naples from 10:00 a.m.-Noon
Mount Olive AME Church in Dunbar from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Last week, St. Matthew’s House fed about 2,000 families at just 3 food distributions in only 6 hours. That’s over 300 families an hour being fed.

St. Matthew’s House said they have noticed that as the month goes on, the number of families being fed at each distribution increases dramatically because people run out of money by the end of the month; especially with the lack of federal benefits. So, they expect the number of families being fed to keep increasing as we get closer to the end of the month.
