American flag. (Credit: CBS News) A Cape Coral mother sent WINK News a tip about kids saying the Pledge of Allegiance but, the ‘under God’ was omitted. The School District of Lee County says that was an accident. In a statement, the district said the teacher was a in hurry and pulled up the wrong pledge on his phone. The teacher has since apologized to the entire student body.
