A Cape Coral man was arrested after a West District Deputy found him with a loaded gun, drugs and cash during a traffic stop, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Lawrence Louis Puca, a 32-year-old convicted felon, left his truck suspiciously parked in a high crime area of Pine Manor, deputies say. A firearm was lodged between seat cushions.

Deputies were patrolling that area because of a recent carjacking. Shortly after driving from the location, the deputy conducted a traffic stop and noticed Puca was nervous.
