Collier County fairgrounds shows ‘Grease’ for throwback movie night
Families in Collier County can grab their blankets and popcorn for a little outdoor movie throwback this weekend.
Collier County fairgrounds showed film “Grease” during its “Throwback Outdoor Movie Night” Friday.
Families told us it’s the perfect way to enjoy the last few summer nights together.
“This is incredible; this is great; it’s a lot of fun because, you know with the pandemic, things are hard to do with teenagers and kids,” Tim Talbot said. “And it’s great to get them out. We celebrate a little bit. We make it a fun time, and it’s all good.”
The Collier County fairgrounds is following all CDC guidelines. It asks all attendees to wear their masks in the concession lines and in the bathrooms.
The throwback series will also take place Sunday. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and movies will start at 8 p.m.
