A Cape Coral man jailed in June for making electronic threats related to a June drive-by shooting now faces charges for the shooting itself.

Police responded the night of June 24 to Hurricane Grill and Wings on SW Pine Island Road after a report of a shooting. Officers learned that someone driving by had fired multiple shots toward the restaurant, striking a man in the outdoor seating area.

Ryan Jastrow, 36, was arrested five days later for making written threats to kill and aggravated stalking, both related to the case, police said. CCPD continued to investigate to connect Jastrow to the actual shooting and were able to develop probable cause to do so.

Jastrow turned himself in Wednesday morning and is now charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm from a vehicle. He has been booked into the Lee County Jail. A bond has not been set.

The victim of the shooting suffered a leg injury and was treated at the scene.
