The National Hurricane Center located the center of Tropical Depression Eleven on Tuesday afternoon in the central Atlantic. The depression was found to be moving to the west around 14 mph as of the 11pm update.

Tropical Depression Eleven should continue to move westward through Wednesday before making a slight turn to the northwest beginning Wednesday night, where it is expected to eventually strengthen into what would be Tropical Storm Josephine.

By Saturday and Sunday, however, strong vertical wind shear and dry air are eventually set to impact the system, which may result in weakening. In fact, the National Hurricane Center notes that it is very possible that it will open back up into a tropical wave at that point. Regardless, it is still too soon to know whether or not it will have any kind of impact on the United States, but it is worth keeping an eye on.
