NHC monitoring tropical wave, small chance of development

Tropical Satellite – Saturday, August 8, 2020 (WINK News)

New as of Saturday morning, the National Hurricane Center is monitoring a tropical wave located in the tropical Atlantic between Africa & the Lesser Antilles.

There is a small possibility of development over the next few days before conditions are expected to become less conducive. Right now, it has a 10% chance of development over the next 5 days.

Otherwise, the tropics are expected to stay quiet over the next several days.
