NHC gives low pressure in the Atlantic an extremely low chance of development

Published: Updated:

It’s become unlikely that a small, weak area of low pressure a few hundred miles southwest of Bermuda will develop.

The storm activity surrounding it has decreased significantly, and strengthening will be hindered due to dry air and high wind shear.

The National Hurricane Center has lowered the chance of development to near 0%. It is expected to dissipate completely over the weekend.
