Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run on I-75 in Lee County, early Wednesday morning. According to FHP, the vehicle that fled the scene was traveling south on I-75, near mile marker 118 when the front of the vehicle collided with the rear of a vehicle traveling ahead of them. After the collision, the suspect’s vehicle became entangled inside the cable barrier on the inside shoulder of I-75. The victim’s vehicle overturned over the cable barrier. Luckily the driver only suffered minor injuries. The suspect fled the scene of the crash on foot.
