Monday’s Coronavirus Updates: State adds 4,752 new cases, 73 deaths

As of 11 a.m. Monday, there have been 491,884 positive cases of the coronavirus recorded in the state. The case count includes 486,384 Florida residents and 5,500 non-Florida residents. There are 7,157 Florida resident deaths reported, 122 non-resident deaths and 27,366 hospitalizations, according to the Florida Department of Health.

There have been 3,758,496 tests administered in Florida. A total of 491,884 tests have come back positive, and 3,260,914 tests have come back negative. The remainder are still pending or inconclusive, according to the FDOH website.

*Numbers are released by the DOH daily at approximately 11 a.m.

Total number of recorded cases: 491,884 (up from 487,132)
Florida resident deaths: 7,157 (up from 7,084)
Non-resident deaths: 122 (unchanged)

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA NUMBERS

Total recorded cases in SWFL: 31,028 (up from 30,767)
Deaths: 568 (unchanged)

  • 0 new deaths reported Monday

Lee County: 15,799 (up from 15,674) – 300 deaths
Collier County: 9,811 (up from 9,734) – 124 deaths
Charlotte County: 2,062 (up from 2,024) – 89 deaths
DeSoto County: 1,297 (up from 1,292) – 15 deaths
Glades County: 392 (up from 391) – 3 deaths
Hendry County: 1,667 (up from 1,652) – 37 deaths
