Coconut Creek Police Department confirms infant Joshua Quinteron, who is 19 days old, was found and is being taken to the hospital to confirm his health status and is considered “preliminarily okay” Monday night. Joshua was found in Apopka outside Orlando, where the child’s father, 17-year-old Jonathan Garcia, was also taken into custody after he forcibly took his son from his mother. An AMBER Alert was originally issued Monday evening after Joshua was last seen in the 4900 block of Fisherman’s Drive in Coconut Creek in Broward County. Officers responding to the domestic dispute say witnesses told them they saw Garcia shaking and hitting the child as he ran off. CBS Miami also contributed to this article.
