Sheriff: Man’s body found on Manasota Key, death unsuspicious

According to the CCSO blog post, dispatch was called around 12:19 p.m. about reports of a body seen by boaters in the area.

Investigators are actively gathering evidence at the scene.

The sheriff’s office says the death is unsuspicious, and there is no threat to the public.
