The Charlotte County Sherriff’s Office said Thursday they have identified the woman who was found dead July 23 in a wooded area off Kings Highway. Due to the level of decomposition, it took a week to positively identify the victim as Suzanne Renee Stone, 59. Her cause of death has yet to be released. The investigation into her death continues.
