Help wanted: 1 kitten dead, 2 abandoned in Lehigh Acres

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers wants the public’s help to find someone who was seen throwing kittens out of a car window in Lehigh Acres recently, killing one of them.

According to the Crime Stoppers Facebook post, around 3 p.m. Tuesday, a witness says they saw someone tossing kittens out of a car in the area of 23rd Street West and Floyd Avenue South.

Two of the kittens were rescued and are in good health. Sadly, one of the kittens died from its injuries.

Crime Stoppers said in its post, “Animal abuse will not be tolerated in Lee County. Speak up and be a voice for these kittens”
