FMPD wants help to find missing woman who has mental health disorders

Fort Myers Police Department wants the public’s help Monday to find a missing woman who has multiple mental health disorders.

According to the FMPD press release, the last communication with Valerie Jean, 40, was July 21. That is when she was taken to SalusCare in Fort Myers by law through the Baker Act. Jean suffers from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and dementia.

Jean is considered missing, and she has been reported missing in the past and has been known to frequent the bus depot at Edison Mall.

If she is found, FMPD asks you call its detective division at 239-321-7732.
