U.S. Air Force. One person was killed and one person was injured Friday due to an armed domestic disturbance at Hurlburt Field U.S. Air Force base in the Florida Panhandle, the 1st Special Operations Wing confirmed in a Facebook post. Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Air Force personnel responded to what was reported as a domestic disturbance involving an active shooter at Hurlburt Field, west of Fort Walton Beach in Okaloosa County. The base was placed on lockdown after the response to the armed domestic disturbance. According to the U.S. Air Force press release, law enforcement officers have brought the situation under control. The identities of the person killed and the person injured have not been released. This is breaking news.
