Cape Coral bank robber sentenced to 30 years in prison

A man who robbed a Cape Coral bank will spend 30 years behind bars.

Anthony Masters was sentenced Monday for robbing Synovus Bank in May 2019.

Masters is also suspected of robbing Bank of the Ozarks and Wells Fargo in January 2018 and Bank OZK in May 2019. He is awaiting trial for those charges as well as a charge of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Masters previously served 15 years in state prison.
