Photo via CBS News If you are looking to get tested for coronavirus in Collier County, there are changes you need to know about for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. The Collier Health Department will be closed next Friday, July 3 in observance of the holiday. DOH-Collier will provide COVID-19 testing on an adjusted schedule from June 29 through July 2. At the Immokalee site located at 419 North First Street, if you are symptomatic, you can get an appointment Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is also a walk-up testing site at this location on Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. No referral is needed for testing. Clients do not need to have symptoms and will be asked to provide their name, contact phone number, and address. If you are symptomatic, please call the DOH-Collier screening line at (239) 252-6220. The Naples site at 3339 Tamiami Trail East will be by appointment only for people who are symptomatic from Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The DOH-Collier call center will remain open Monday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The call center can be reached at (239) 252-6220.
