The man wrote the check Thursday morning to buy a Rolex watch and a gold necklace. Police said he then stole two Rolex watches from the repair counter before he left the store. The checks were stolen out of Dillard, Georgia, according to police, who said the man was in a silver or gray Land Rover Discovery with an Alabama dealer tag. Police said they have contacted the car dealer to determine if the vehicle came from their lot. FMPD is asking anyone who sees the vehicle or the suspect to call Det. Dietz at 239-478-6361.
