Lee County sheriff candidate, BLM advocate discuss views on defunding police

Social media can bring us together or tear us apart. A candidate for Lee County sheriff became involved in a heated online argument with a voter over calls to defund the police recently. So we decided to get them together to have a discussion.

Wednesday, we hosted a sit-down discussion between Michael Ray, a candidate for Lee County Sheriff, and Gineska Escalante, a Black Lives Matters advocate in Fort Myers, so they could talk in person about their views on defunding of police agencies.
