A Fort Myers man is dead and three other people suffered serious injuries in a 3 car wreck on I-75 late Sunday night. According to Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man was traveling northbound on I-75 in the southbound lanes, approaching the mile marker 143 overpass, when the vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle occupied by two other passengers. The driver of the first vehicle exited and walked north remaining in the southbound I-75 travel lanes before a third vehicle traveling south on I-75 struck the man as he was walking down the interstate. The front of the third vehicle then struck the front of the second vehicle with the two passengers and the driver inside. The 36-year-old driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver and the passengers in the second vehicle all came out with no injuries. The driver of the third vehicle and the two other passengers all suffered serious injuries in the collision.
