Photo by AP. A person was killed early Sunday in a south Fort Myers crash. The Florida Highway Patrol said a sedan was speeding southbound on South Pointe Boulevard near Wildginger Drive when the car left the road, struck a tree and caught fire. The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. Troopers said they are still working to identify the driver, who died at the scene.
