Man, 62, dies after Monday shooting in Fort Myers

A 62-year-old man died Monday after he was shot during an altercation in a Fort Myers parking lot, police said.

Police were called to the Park at Positano apartment complex off Colonial Boulevard at around 12:22 p.m. They found Ricky Lorenzo suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police said the shooter was found at the scene and interviewed, but no arrests have been made as they continue to investigate.
