State hiring ‘community assistance consultants’ for airports

The Florida Divison of Emergency Management is looking to hire former first responders to help keep airports around the state safe, including Southwest Florida International.

The agency is hiring community assistance consultants who help with screening procedures and maintaining social distancing.

Applications will be accepted here until June 19.
