The Florida Department of Health Charlotte County will open a drive-thru test site on Thursday in Charlotte County. Testing is free and by appointment only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register by clicking here. No doctor’s note is required. Testing will be held at Charlotte Sports Park, 2300 El Jobean Rd. Guidance for obtaining test results will be given at the time of the appointment. This is for COVID-19 testing for those who believe they currently have the virus. Antibody testing is not being done at this location. There will also be testing offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday as well as Tuesday and Thursday of next week.
