Ron DeSantis and the state confirm barber shops, hair salons and nail salons will be permitted to reopen in counties already in Phase 1 of the reopening plan starting Monday, May 11. J Henry of J Henry’s Barber Shop in Orlando helped make the announcement and confirmed businesses that reopen will be following guidelines to help ensure safety of staff and customers. Henry encouraged people in counties that will be able to reopen these types of businesses to go out and support them but stressed the ultimate importance of safety.
