Lindsey’s lesson: Brain pop

Parents, by now you’ve figured out bringing the classroom home is not easy, but the website “Brain pop” is helping with that.

Normally it costs money, but it’s free for 30 days right now.

They have a site for K-3rd grade, then another one geared toward upper elementary and middle school.

Once you sign up, you pick the subject, it has your child watch a video, then answer a quiz.

For example, Lindsey chose “Cells” under science and you can see all the ways it drills your child.

If you’re really not sure where your child should be on learning, they also have pacing guides for K-8th grade.

The kindergarten one tells you what you should be covering with links in a 30-minute lesson.

They also have an entire page dedicated to social-emotional learning for your children.

You can find the information or try it out with your kids here.
