Graduating class of The Village School of Naples celebrated with ‘drive-by gifting’

To make sure the class of 2020 knows they’re a class act, teachers and staff from The Village School of Naples delivered some joy and inspiration to students – letting them know they’re not forgotten.

It’s the first class of graduating seniors at that school, but coronavirus is changing their commencement ceremony plans.

One-by-one, cars decked out with balloons, streamers, and signs, caravaned to all 12 graduating students’ homes in both Lee in Collier counties.

WINK News reporter Brea Hollingsworth went along for the ride as each senior got their cap and gown and a personalized gift basket, right on their doorstep.
