Coast Guard finds boater safe on Caloosahatchee River
U.S. Coast Guard searched for a missing boater, who was found safe in his vessel on the Caloosahatchee River Monday night.
According to the Coast Guard, a male boater was in a small 12-foot dinghy on the water before going missing, but has since been found safe.
The Coast Guard has since suspended its search.
Investigators searched between Midpoint Bridge and Edison Bridge for roughly two hours before finding the missing boater.
