Benjamin Pineda (Credit: Hendry Co. Sheriff’s Office) DeSoto County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stabbing that happened Thursday afternoon in Arcadia. The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect, Benjamin Pineda, fled from the scene at SE Baker Street and SE First Avenue after the incident. He was later apprehended and arrested, deputies said. DCSO is still investigating the stabbing and has not released any further information. Trust WINK News for updates.
