In today’s Lindsey’s lesson, we are going on a virtual field trip to the conservancy of Southwest Florida.

This is one of the top spots for school trips—and they taped videos so it’s like you are on the field trip.

They take you through their discovery center and introduce your child to animals—even have a Burmese python necropsy.

Then they have activity sheets your child has to answer after.

Lindsey tried this with her family and they were glued to the activity sheets.

There are videos from the animal care team that offers a behind the scenes look at how they care for some animals.

Another activity is Location exploration, which takes your child on backyard scavenger hunts.

Another fun option is Little Explorers, which are stories and craft ideas you can do with smaller children.

They make it very easy to explore, the website is conservancy.Org/virtual-learning.

You can also check out their Facebook page where they are continuously posting videos—like one of all the baby animals that are in their animal hospital right now.
