This weekend wraps up National Parks Week and for today’s Lindsey’s lesson, we are throwing out the traditional way you may celebrate by visiting a park and bringing the park to your home.

The National Park Service’s website offers 20 different ways to virtually enjoy parks week.

One idea is to do a virtual tour of parks.

You can take a 360-degree tour of Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.

You can also join a live park presentation at various parks or even watch the sunrise at Zion Park. You can find Friday’s schedule here.

They even have printable activities for your child to work towards becoming a junior park ranger.

Finally, they recommend you set the mood with your kids by putting up a tent or sleeping bags—maybe flashlights and pretend like you are in a park.

Something Lindsey’s kids loved!
