Credit: Shared with WINK News. A Cape Coral couple says a woman crashed a car into the side of their home in the middle of the night. When they went outside to see what happened, they say the driver tried to get away. The couple says the police told them the driver admitted to texting while driving. “I have no understanding in my mind — A — what are you doing on the street at 1:23 in the morning? B, why are you speeding between 50 and 60 miles an hour and worst of all texting,” homeowner Lyse Cuellar-Vidao told WINK News. “This could’ve cost her or anybody else their life,” The couple just moved into the house a few weeks ago. And there is no word yet if any charges will be filed.
