Tyrese Mathews. Photo via FMPD Fort Myers Police and the U.S. Marshals arrested a man on Tuesday for the murder of 24-year-old Andrew Brown III. According to FMPD, On Tuesday, around 8 p.m., officers and U.S. Marshal Service arrested Tyrese Mathews, 39, for the murder of Andrew Brown. On December 13 police were called to a scene on Palm Beach Boulevard close to the intersection of Desoto Avenue and Alderman Street after reports of a gunshot victim. Mathews was taken into custody and charged with Second-Degree Murder and transported to the Lee County Jail.
