Death investigation in Fort Myers A death investigation had multiple streets blocked off with crime scene tape Friday morning in Fort Myers. The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Andrew Laquan Brown III, according to Fort Myers police. The area blocked off Friday around 12:30 a.m. was near Palm Beach Boulevard close to the intersection of Desoto Avenue and Alderman Street. Police said they were responding to call about a gunshot victim. No other details have been provided. Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
