Accused Cape Coral killer connected to Tallahassee murder case

According to the testimony of a convicted kidnapper, Wade Wilson, the man arrested for killing Cape Coral women Diane Ruiz and Kristine Melton, offered to murder a woman in Tallahassee.

Last year, Brian Winchester told prosecutors Wilson offered to kill Denise Williams after they met each other in jail, and he asked Wilson to fabricate evidence

in his case.

Denise Williams was involved in the high-profile murder case of her husband, Mike Williams.

Winchester and Denise, who were lovers, murdered Mike and tried to make his death look like a boating accident.

Winchester was given immunity from murder charges in exchange for testimony in Denis’e trial.

Wilson currently faces first-degree murder charges in the deaths of Melton and Ruiz.

Investigators say he kidnapped and killed them in October.

Wilson faces the possibility of the death penalty if he is convicted.
