One dead and three seriously injured in head-on-collision in Immokalee

One person died in a crash in Immokalee Wednesday morning and 3 others suffered serious injuries.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, Wayne Wycoff, 49, was driving southbound on Camp Keais Road when his vehicle swerved off the right side of the road.

Wycoff over corrected his vehicle and crashed head on into another vehicle that was traveling north on Camp Keaid Road.

As a result, Wycoff’s vehicle flipped over on it’s side.

The three passengers in the northbound vehicle all suffered serious injuries in the crash and were transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Wycoff died from his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
