Brightening the spirits of sick children during the holiday season, a flash mob danced outside of Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.

Law enforcement agencies shined their lights up onto the Golisano hospital to show the child patients they are not alone Friday night.

There are about 120 children staying at the hospital. Some won’t be able to make it home for the holidays.

“What makes a children’s hospital special, what makes us different is all of the extra things we do to bring normalcy to the lives of the children we serve,” said Armando Llechu, the CEO of Golisano Children’s Hospital. “And so they can’t come out, so we bring the outside in.”

The children who were able to make it to their windows shined glow sticks back to the first responders.
