(WINK News) The latest red tide map released Tuesday night brings SWFL some good news! The map shows greatly reduced concentrations. Chief Meteorologist Jim Farrell says it’s trending toward disappearing or staying patchy or low. Red tide concentrations are GREATLY reduced! This is great news for beachgoers along the coast. Red tide has taken over SWFL in recent months with tons of dead fish, a very stinky smell and even causing respiratory issues for some.
