Saluting the brave.

Students and staff at the Community School of Naples created portraits and biographies of Southwest Florida veterans. Together, they tell the stories of our veterans, ‘Through Their Eyes.’

“This book did a great job,” said Dan Bernard, 72, a U.S. Army veteran inspiring people, “uniting both generations and the veterans themselves.”

Reporter Melinda Lee shares the impact of the book in the veterans’ own words.
