The best times to shop in Southwest Florida
The roads are getting packed, and so are the stores. It’s easy to see our friends up north are back, trading in snow for the Sun!
In season, the Village of Estero’s population goes from 33,000 to 50,000.
But technology makes avoiding crowds easy.
With the help of Google, you can track down the most and least popular times to shop. Just search the store of your choice, click “more about” and scroll to the graph mapping out the days and times.
WINK put it to the test, picking four stores in the Estero area on a weekday.
Costco at Gulf Coast Town Center is quietest when it opens at 10 a.m., and right before closing. The store is the busiest early afternoon.
Walmart Supercenter located at Route 41 and Estero Parkway is open twenty-four hours a day. While it’s most quiet overnight, the parking lot is still pretty empty before 9 a.m. But after school and work, the number of shoppers picks up.
If wide-open aisles appeal to you, check out Target shortly after it opens its doors and before it closes them. The store starts getting busy at around 1 p.m. and stays that way until 6 a.m.
