Lake Boyz member, Detron Williams A member of the Lake Boyz gang appeared in court today and denied the plea deal offer given by the state. According to WINK News reporter in the court room, after talking with family members, Detron Williams rejected the state’s offer of 10 years prison followed by 10 years probation. Williams in being tried on Racketeering charges, and he was also found in violation of his pre-trial terms when he was in contact with a co-defendant he was ordered to not have contact with. If the case goes to trial, he is facing 11 years to life in prison. The judge says he will not accept a negotiated plea deal after Tuesday. The trial is scheduled to begin on January 21.
